Originally developed as a co-pack bagging operation for Decatur's giant agri-business industry, Parke Toll Packaging has grown into a dry-mix and liquids blending and contract manufacturing concern serving food and food ingredients companies nationwide.

Parke Toll Packaging offers co-packing and toll-processing services for bulk and powdered food and liquids food products. Dry-mix capabilities include mixing or blending, bagging, and super sack filling. Liquids capabilities include blending, drumming, and tote and pail filling. We can receive (and ship) from bulk rail or bulk truck, as well as packaging such as multiwall paper bags, super sacks, or totes.

Our 76,000 square foot facility in Decatur, IL is ideal for the giant food processing markets in Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis, the greater Midwest, and the indeed the world via NS’ and ADM’s Decatur intermodal rail facilities.

 

Transportation

 
 

The Parke Toll Packaging plant is sited on the Canadian National Railroad (CN) and is also served by the Norfolk Southern (NS) and CSX through a reciprocal switching agreements. As a major agri-industrial center that is home to such companies as ADM, Tate and Lyle, Caterpillar, and PPG Industries, Decatur is well-served by most major LTL and truckload motor carriers. For parcel shipments UPS maintains a terminal in Decatur and FedX has a large presence as well.

So whether your product is shipped by truck or by rail, whether in bulk or in bags, Parke can serve your toll-processing needs. Add in our Parke Warehouses division, and we can store your product until it is needed, then ship it directly to your customer, thus eliminating an otherwise costly and unnecessary return to your plant or distribution center.
